Digital Marketing Specialist

In order to pursue its North American growth, Datavalet is seeking the services of a digital marketing specialist with a minimum of three years of experience in the field. The specialist will join the marketing team and report to the department’s director as a key member of the team. Empowered by a fast paced and collaborative environment, the new Digital Marketing Specialist will be able to apply his or her skill set to meaningful projects as well as grow professionally at Datavalet

Key responsibilities

  • Plans and carries out all top of funnel digital marketing activities based on Datavalet’s digital marketing strategy in order to reach the monthly Marketing Qualified Lead goal
  • Acts as a digital marketing advisor making best practices recommendations to improve digital marketing strategy and tactics
  • Manages the website, social media channels, marketing campaigns and other digital prospect acquisition and nurturing activities
  • Provides key input in all digital graphic designs as well as content that will be used in digital marketing campaigns
  • Collaborates with Inside Sales to ensure timely conversion of Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales Qualified leads.


Required skills and experience

  • Experience in developing and managing WordPress websites
  • Experience in developing and optimizing a minimum of 3 corporate websites
  • Experience in analyzing performance digital marketing activities and creating various metrics for monthly reporting
  • Proven experience landing pages to drive Marketing Qualified Lead acquisition
  • Proven experience developing SEO, SEM and PPC strategies
  • Experience with Google AdWords and Google Analytics
  • Experience in Digital Marketing platforms, preferably HubSpot and Sales Force

Required skills and experience

  • LinkedIn campaigns and ad management
  • Management of communities, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and/or YouTube

Skills and knowledge considered assets

  • Some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and/or Premiere
  • Ability to work with design resources to ensure branding consistency in all visual media
  • Ability to do light video editing in applications like Biteable or the equivalent


  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Autonomous and a self-starter
  • Enthusiastic and has a keen interest in developing professional skills
  • Work experience within B2B organizations or environments and/or in IT /wireless telecommunication industries
  • Solid understanding of how to map a buyer’s journey
  • Ability to work with online project management tools like ASANA


  • University diploma in a field relating to the position or college diploma along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
