Digital Marketing Specialist

In order to pursue its North American growth, Datavalet is seeking the services of a digital marketing specialist with a minimum of three years of experience in this field. The specialist will join the marketing team and report to the department’s director. Empowered by the challenges and projects he or she will take on, the new Datavalet team member will be able to apply his or her skills to concrete projects and grow professionally as technologies evolve and as Datavalet quickly grows in the industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Carries out all digital marketing activities
  • Acts as a digital marketing advisor and makes recommendations to improve the company’s various performances
  • Manages website, social media, marketing campaigns and other digital customer acquisition and retention activities
  • Provides key input in all digital graphic designs as well as content that will be used in digital marketing campaigns


Required skills and experience

  • Experience in developing and managing WordPress websites
  • Experience in developing and optimizing a minimum of 3 corporate websites
  • Experience in analyzing performance and producing web reports/dashboards
  • Proven experience relating to landing pages in a client acquisition context
  • Proven experience relating to SEO, SEM and PPC campaigns
  • Experience relating to Google AdWords and Google Analytics
  • Experience in marketing automation (HubSpot, Pardot, Magento or Marketo)

Skills and experience considered assets

  • Experience in developing Web Flash banners
  • Experience in creating newsletters (design and programming) for PC and mobiles
  • Experience in Salesforce and in email marketing software such as MailChimp
  • Experience in HTML 5, JavaScript, PHP and CSS3 programming

  • Knowledge and experience relating to LinkedIn campaigns and ads

  • Experience in managing communities on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and/or YouTube

  • Work experience within B2B organizations or environments and/or in the IT or wireless telecommunication industries
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing specificities


  • University diploma in a field relating to the position or college diploma along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
