The situation around the COVID-19 virus, now declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, continues to evolve in Canada and the US. It is our collective responsibility to contain the spread of the virus and help those who are the most vulnerable.

Our number one priority is to protect the health and well-being of our people, clients, partners and community. We have implemented several measures to ensure everyone’s health, well-being and resilience through these unpredictable times, while maintaining the highest level of service.  This includes the following actions,

 

  1. Datavalet has formed a COVID-19 response team that meets daily with the management team to review the latest data, interpret the warning signals, re-frame our understanding of what’s important and take action.
  2. We actively monitor and implement Canadian and international best practices in pandemic management, emergency response and other areas, including policy for travel and group meetings, as we operationalize our support for our clients.
  3. We have triggered our “Work from Home” contingency plan for our entire organization. This has been in place for a majority of our team as of Friday, March 13th and is planned to be fully implemented for the whole team by the end of day Wednesday, March 18th.
  4. We have also emphasized the importance of “social distancing” at all times to everyone in our company and encourage others to do the same with those they influence.

 

During this time and moving forward, we will continue to fully support our clients and help assist them with the challenges they are facing during this time.

Given the fluid nature of this situation, we are prepared to follow new information and guidance from the provincial, federal and international health authorities.
